Originally from Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Marie-Eve Proulx has over 20 years of experience as a manager in the areas of regional development, education and health. She has contributed to many local, regional and national projects. Passionate about Côte-du-Sud, she wants to make the voices of its citizens come alive.
Between 2005 and 2013, she was counselor then mayor of her native village where she was involved in promoting economic development, tourism and rurality within the MRC. A mother of three, she has always been able to balance work, family and put the citizens at the center of her priorities.
In 2013, she started her own consulting and management coaching business. A committed woman, she has, among other things, been vice-president of the Women, Politics and Democracy Group (2014-2016), member of the CLD’s board of directors of the MRC de Montmagny (2010-2013). She has also been a member of the Permanent Council of Youth and actively participated in the establishment of the Regional Youth Forums of Quebec.
Marie-Eve holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work from the Université du Québec en Outaouais.
