He is also a creative writer, and his first book, Francis Lost in the Meanders (Francis perdu dans les méandres), was published with Pierre Tisseyre Publishing in 2010. In November 2014, he published a second book called Francis the Bold (Francis l’intrépide).
Through his dedication and talents as a communicator, he became education correspondent for the TVA morning show “Deux filles le matin” for three years. He is also a blogger for the Huffington Post.
As the second opposition group critic for education, Jean-François defends services for students in difficulty and has spoken out against the network’s heavy bureaucracy and raises for university administrators.
