Marie-Louise Tardif holds a bachelor’s degree in forest engineering and is a seasoned manager known for turning businesses around and ensuring their success. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Ottawa. Marie-Louise Tardif has been based in Shawinigan for almost twenty years.
Managing Director, then CEO of Melville Island Park, she has been Secretary-Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Association of Regional Parks of Québec since 2012.
For her, the regional economy must rely on a better development of natural resources, but also on the development of jewels with strong tourism potential, such as the Saint-Maurice River. She places access to health care, education up to graduation, poverty alleviation and the family portfolio at the top of her agenda.
A mother of three, Marie-Louise is a member of the Shawinigan Optimist Club and the Val Mauricie High School Governing Board.
