New measures to enforce health regulations in red zones

Police will be able to issue ‘on the spot’ tickets to the tune of $1,000 to residents who insist on holding house parties in violation of new pandemic regulations.
And police will be issuing $1,000 tickets to citizens participating in protests and demonstrations without wearing face masks as the Legault government tightens the screws for the second wave of the pandemic.
Gatherings in parks are also being banned in the COVID-19 red alert zones except for people in the same bubble like a parent and child.
“If you’re inviting friends for a party, you are breaking the law,” Premier François Legault said at a pandemic news conference Wednesday where he outlined new, hard-hitting measures to enforce health regulations in red zones like Montreal.
With bars and restaurants closing and people no longer allowed to receive guests at home as of midnight Wednesday, Legault said a minority of people not respecting the rules are affecting the health of the majority
